The World Inspired By Citroën | Citroën Origins

We mentioned in our report on the Citroën 100th Anniversary Celebration at La Ferté-Vidame in France that the best deal in the Citroën boutique at the event was the “World Inspired by Citroën” – a collector’s catalogue that has been produced in partnership with the magazine IDEAT. It was 156 pages in XXL format (30 x 38 cm) and selling for just € 20.

Citroën describes it as; “A true invitation to travel, it brings together the work of seven photographers in seven cities around the world with Citroën vehicles as the main characters. From Amsterdam, to Paris, Tunis, Milan, New York and Buenos Aires via Tokyo, discover a dazzling staging of Citroëns through cities and arts from all over the world.”

We also said that if you didn’t see it (or didn’t want to take the massive book home in your luggage), the good news is that the book and be purchased online here: https://lifestyle.citroen.com/en/shop/_/pr5883/collector-catalogue-100-photos-100-years.

Well, it turns out that although the book is listed as an item you can purchase on Citroën’s online store, there is no ability to complete the purchase if you are trying to send it to a North American address. Fear not – though it is not hard copy, we have found this link on Citroën Origins to much of the imagery and profiles of the photographers that appear in the publication: http://www.citroenorigins.fr/fr/exposition/inspired-citroen
