Stellantis announced today that effective June 1, 2024 Thierry Koskas, who has fulfilled the roles of Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Citroën CEO within Stellantis since February 23, 2023, will now dedicate his strong sales and marketing expertise exclusively to the expansion of the Citroën brand.
Luca Napolitano is appointed Chief Sales & Marketing Officer in addition to his current responsibility as Lancia brand CEO. Napolitano brings experience in fleet, retail sales and dealer management in several countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In another change, Olivier Bourges takes over as Chief Customer Experience Officer for Richard Schwarzwald, who is leaving for personal reasons, the company said. Bourges previously worked in strategic planning for the Stellantis.
Olivier Bourges was appointed head of the Global Corporate Office and Public Affairs Officer in July 2023 and has served as a member of Stellantis’ Top Executive Team since January 2021. Previously, he was Chief Planning Officer, a position he held since the creation of Stellantis in January 2021. He joined PSA in 2014 as General Secretary of the company and moved on to become Planning Executive Vice President in 2018.
Richard Schwarzwald came to Stellantis through Fiat, which he joined in 2004 as senior vice president for quality and supplier quality for the Italian brands. He left the company in 2007 to run quality for Volkswagen South America, then came back in 2016 as head of Fiat Chrysler’s Latin American quality; in 2018 he was promoted to global head of quality. Stellantis made him chief customer experience officer in January 2021.
Finally, Stellantis said Clara Ingen-Housz, who joined the company earlier this year, will take over Bourges’ current post as Global Corporate Office and Public Affairs Officer, joining the company’s more than 30-member top executive team. She previously worked for Saint-Gobain, a French manufacturing company.
These moves come amidst other senior executive departure this month that included Stellantis’ Dodge and Ram brands CEO Tim Kuniskis retiring after a nearly 32-year career with the automaker.
Kuniskis will be replaced by Chrysler brand CEO Christine Feuell, who will also lead Ram, and Matt McAlear, who will be promoted from Dodge’s sales lead to brand CEO.
Recent changes have included a shuffle of Jeep’s top executives; North America head Mark Stewart leaving to become CEO of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.; and a shakeup late last year of the company’s international operations like the South America and Asia-Pacific regions, including India and China.
