For years Canadians been frustrated when having to refuel at US gas stations. Since the US has not yet adopted PIN technology on their credit cards, the pumps require that a ZIP code be entered on the key pad. However the keypad is only numerical input. Canadian postal codes are made up of three numbers and three letters. (For example: H3C 5T9). But, Canadians can get around that limitation. Of course we can’t guarantee it will work everywhere. As they say; “your mileage may vary”!
