Was Tesla’s Brutalist Cybertruck Inspired by Citroën?
The styling of the Tesla Cybertuck evokes very polarizing views. Some say it is an unearthly creation that would be better suited to roaming Mars on a Space-X expedition, while others feel it is a sheer genius jolt to traditional automobile design that will soon see a new wave of copycat offerings.
As world-renowned car designer Frank Stephenson, points out in this video, much of the inspiration behind it probably came from the pyramidal designed Citroën Karin concept presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1980.
