World travellers in a 2CV take on the Canadian Arctic

Chang Luo and Jie Ding left England in April with their four-year-old daughter setting out in a 1985 2CV that Chang restored for the trip.   The couple, originally from China, wanted to do this journey now before their daughter starts going to school.  They plan to drive the world for the next two years.  At the moment they are on the Dempster Highway will be heading to Tuktoyaktuk.

One of necessities in the arctic in a 2Cv is to take the battery inside to keep it warm when not driving, and if it’s really cold, drain the oil and take that inside as well.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation published a story about them.  You can read that here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/inuvik-tuktoyaktuk-highway-drive-1.4428304 as did The News Tribune, a Washington state newspaper: http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/article193082064.html

When they head back south in Canada and the USA, perhaps they will get in touch with Citroën enthusiasts in warmer climates!
