West Coast Rendezvous — the largest annual gathering of classic Citroëns on the US West coast, was held from Oct. 3 – 5, 2025. Organized this year by the Citroën Car Club (Los Angeles), it returned to the historic Santa Maria Inn in the heart of the Central California Coast and wine country.
On Friday, arrivals checked in and joined the welcome party. The group was then treated to a Cruise event with the local low riders.
Saturday’s schedule included a scenic drive and buying some nice wine on the tour that stopped in Solvang for a long lunch and a judged showing. The So Cal club picked some great back-roads, reminding us of Portugal.
I scored scored some parts at the swap meet Swap Meet at the Santa Maria Inn. Evening festivities included cocktails and dinner in the Santa Maria Ballroom.
We enjoyed the event, met several interesting folks and learned a lot.
I drove 545 miles and got 25 mpg in our DS. There were a few mechanical issues for some participants (not surprising).

I’m looking forward to hosting the 2026 event around Santa Cruz area. It was the easy choice by show of hands from the 60 attendees, over Napa/Sonoma.
