Since the inception of the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, a 2CV has been on display and open for visitors to sit in. Now, a Citroën DS is on its way to the museum floor to offer a similar experience.

Jeff Lane contacted Gary Kelly at Fun Cars of Georgia to take one of the “aged” DS models from his property and create an exhibit akin to what was presented at Rétromobile in Paris in 2025, where attendees were able to experience the comfort of sitting in a DS.

As seen in these before pictures of the DS in Georgia, the project was not a trivial effort.

However, after sourcing a hood and two front fenders from other DS models on the property, visiting a local paint shop, and outfitting a new interior, the DS is now on its way to Nashville. It promises to be a memorable French automotive experience for those who have never sat in the lounge-like interior of the DS, and for those who once owned a DS, an opportunity to rekindle their love for the Goddess.

The Lane Motor Museum is a must-visit at 702 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37210-4522.
