300 2CVs To Be Sold In The Netherlands

Edwin Groen of the Netherlands will soon be selling his collection of over 450 cars that includes 300 2CVs.

66-year-old Groen made has amassed his collection over 30 years while making his living through his bicycle business, Edwin Groen Tweewielers B.V. and selling real estate. He is unfortunately experiencing health problems and no longer has the time to fully dedicate himself to his museum collection in the village of Andijk. His children are not interested in taking it over.

The collection has been bought by Gallery Aaldering in the Netherlands, who intend to sell it off in spring 2027.

What impact this many 2CVs coming on the market will have on prices, remains to be seen. A dozen of the 2CVs are zero mileage, preserved from new, while others are rare models such as a 1949 2CV A and a 2CV Dagonet.

Even the last produced 2CV, purchased by Roger Brioult,, is preserved in its original state after its theft and subsequent fire.
