This year a 1974 Citroën SM meticulously prepped by owner Tony Burgess made quite an impression with the admiring crowd and the Concours judges who voted to give it the Technical Innovation Award.
The judges were generally aware of the SM but had never or rarely ever seen a French specification highly original car.

It was a true Indian Summer day on October 3, 2021, for our Citroën Autoclub Canada annual fall outing. As we have for the past two years, we ventured east of Toronto on the backroads of the Durham and Northumberland regions of Ontario.
With a great blend of seasoned Rendezvous veterans & over 10 first timers, there was a beautiful energy all weekend long.
After cancellation in June 2020 due to Covid, holding a Mini-Rendezvous in September, and postponement again in June of this year – a “normal” Citroën Rendezvous finally took place again at Saratoga Springs, NY from September 9 — 12, 2021.

It would appear that they are taking an “Amazon/Google” approach to dominating the classic and vintage car market with these latest expansions. There’s no question they have become a formidable entity for any other company looking to compete.
