Classiche Masters elaborate on the SM based Maserati Quattroporte II

We briefly touched on the history of the Maserati Quattroporte II when one came up for sale in October 2015.

Introduced when Citroën owned Maserati, the Quattroporte II had Bertone bodywork, penned by Marcello Gandini.  It was the only model in the Quattroporte series to feature hydropneumatic suspension and front wheel drive. Under the hood it looked identical to the SM.
