George Klein’s restoration of a 1972 SM from Kitchener
George Klein is taking on another SM restoration. But what a find to start with! This 1972 2.7L 5-speed with European headlights was tucked away in dry storage in Kitchener Ontario. Consequently it was virtually rust free and although disassembled in the the front end by the original owner some years ago when he intended to work on the car, it is in original condition with all the parts present. George has moved the car back to his home in Richmond Hill and has extensively documented his progress so far. These photos show the complexity of a SM and prove that tackling one is NOT for the faint of heart!
