Rétromobile is optimistic for the year 2026, for two reasons; In Paris, the show will celebrate its 50th anniversary, while across the Atlantic the first American edition will be held in the heart of New York. It is in this context that Comexposium (one of the world’s leading event companies and organizer) and Rétromobile have announced the signing of a multi-year partnership agreement with the auction house Gooding Christie’s.
It is being promoted that the collaboration will provide collectors with the finest selection of vehicles on offer at auction for this anniversary edition and for future ones in Paris and New York. The Paris show will run from January 28 to February 1, 2026 and the New York show from November 19 to 22, 2026 in Manhattan at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Gérard Neveu, Director of the Rétromobile New York show, enthusiastically concluded: “Who better than Gooding Christie’s to lead the auction at the new Rétromobile New York show?

To what degree Citroëns will populate the New York show for either auction or display attraction has yet to be determined.
Since its founding in 2003 by David Gooding and his wife Dawn Ahrens, Gooding & Company has established itself worldwide as one of the leading auction houses in the classic vehicle market. Since September 2024, Christie’s has owned Gooding & Company. Following this transaction, the auction house took the name Gooding Christie’s.
