We are pleased to show this unique collector’s item — the first Citroën BX 4TC Integrale manufactured for the 1986 Group B Rally.

Citroën entered Group B rallying with the BX in 1986. Their Competition department created 20 audacious 20 BX 4TC Evolution examples that bore little resemblance to the standard BX.

Each had a very long nose because the engine (a turbocharged version of Chrysler Europe’s Simca Type 180 4-cylinder) was mounted longitudinally, unlike in the regular transverse mounted 4-cylinder engine in production BXs. The gearbox came from the Citroën SM and it used drivetrain elements of Peugeot’s 505 Turbo Production car. The body was constructed by Heuliez.

Group B regulations stipulated that models in this category had to be produced in a minimum of 200 road-going versions to receive homologation for competition.

António Fernandes who manages Auto Fernandes which operates in Portugal as a consultancy for the purchase and sale of automobiles, mostly classic vehicles, sent these photos showing some details of this BX 4TC Integrale. It was sold in December 2025 to a museum in France, but has now been imported into Spain. #1 of the 200, it is very well preserved and completely original. Chassis number 1 with 95,000 kms showing on the odometer;

It is presently for sale with António for €140,000. If you are interested in acquiring rare #1 BX 4TC Integrale, you can contact him at: fernandes.ptmotors@gmail.com
