I was enticed with Darren’s effort to modernize the 2CV, a project he has embarked on with both the sedan and Truckette versions.
Equipped with the 2.7 litre 6 cylinder diesel, everything is working and nothing is needed to immediately start enjoying this rare-in-Canada example.
I purchased it new from a Citroën dealer in Montreal in summer of 1972. It runs well and needs to be driven and enjoyed.
We headed out on a 2.5 hour drive that took us along some of Southern Ontario’s nicest country back-roads.
Horse power is not required for enjoyment, but a decent heater would be nice!
